Worries about Greece hit the markets today after Standard & Poor’s downgraded that country’s long-term government debt rating to B-minus from B and kept it on watch for additional downgrades. The downgrade comes after the European Central Bank earlier this week announced that it will no longer accept Greek bonds as collateral and the country’s newly installed left-wing government attempts to restructure the terms of its 2012 bailout. |
