| Private-sector employment rose 209,000 in March — close to analysts’ expectations — for the 26th month of gains, according to ADP. The increase in February was revised to 230,000 from a prior estimate of 216,000. | |||||||
| A Spanish bond sale failed, which is spooking the US markets. Spain sold 2.59 billion euros ($3.4 billion) of bonds at an auction today, the Bank of Spain said. That was less than the maximum target of 3.5 billion euros. | |||||||
