U.S. stocks finished at strongly up again on Friday with the S&P 500 on its best winning streak since June 2014 as health care and consumer staples sectors paced broader market gains. Investors focused on sectors that lagged behind the broader market rally since the U.S. election. Wholesale inventories fell 0.4% in October versus a gain of 0.1% in September, according to data from the Commerce Department.
