November crude fell 0.3%, to settle at $50.42 a barrel on the New York Merc. That was its lowest finish since Sept. 19, according to FactSet. Prices fell more than 2% Monday after a recent survey of analysts by Reuters pegged OPEC’s September crude output at 32.86 million barrels a day, more than August and above its production cap.
