Oil ended lower with September crude closing down 2% to $49.61 a barrel on the New York Merc on renewed concerns over a global glut of crude. Oil slipped after a Bloomberg survey of analysts, oil companies, and ship-tracking data indicated the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries saw crude output rise 210,000 barrels a day in July.
