Stocks climbed after President Trump referenced a “phenomenal” announcement about his tax plan coming in the next few weeks. During a meeting with U.S. airline executives, he said his plans call for “lowering the overall tax burden of American businesses, big league.” Trump’s pledge to cut taxes is expected to have a stimulative effect on asset values. He has given few details since he won the election back in November.
