Closing Market Report 12/6/2016

The KUIK Closing Market Report for Friday, December 6:

Markets closed up.

Index Direction Change Units Index Time Change
Dow Up                     35  points          19,252 4:32 PM
S&P500 Up 0.3% percent           2,212
Nasdaq Composite Up 0.5% percent           5,333
30 Year Treasury Up                       2 Basis Points 3.08% Annual Yield

U.S. stocks on Tuesday drifted in and out of positive territory as investors appeared to trade cautiously after a record close for the Dow industrials in the previous session.

Also weighing on investor sentiment was a sharp reversal for crude-oil futures that ended a four-session win streak for the commodity, as doubts about a pact to curb oil output among major oil producers weighs on the industry.
