the University of Michigan consumer sentiment survey for November was up after the election of Donald Trump to 93.8, up from October’s final 87.2. Richard Curtin, chief economist of the survey said that “The post-election boost in optimism was widespread, with gains recorded among all income and age subgroups and across all regions of the country.”
