U.S. stocks ended sharply higher today as energy stocks soared on a rebound in oil prices. March crude erased early losses and ended up almost 0.6% to $30.51 a barrel. The Federal Reserve began a two-day policy meeting, with a statement due Wednesday morning at 11:00 am Pacific time.
