Freddie Mac reports the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 3.81% the week ended January 21, down from last week’s 3.92%. A year ago it was 3.63. The 15-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 3.10%, down from 3.19%. A year ago it was 2.93.
