Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew will urge countries to “use all available policy tools” to boost global growth, according to a statement outlining the secretary’s trip to a conference of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Peru this week. The U.S. hopes to get more countries to implement the necessary fiscal and monetary policies to re-energize the global economy, which has fallen into the doldrums falling the drop in commodity prices and a slowdown in China. |
