The Conference Board reports that for the first time since 2007 Americans say today’s labor market is the best since the 2007 recession. The labor-market differential reflects the difference between how many Americans say jobs are “plentiful” and those who say jobs are “hard to get.” Some 21.9% of survey respondents said jobs were plentiful in August, while 21.9% said the opposite.
