Oil had a bad day. September crude fell2.9%, to settle at $47.12 a barrel on the New York Merca. It’s down about 2.5% for the week and off 21% for the month. Just before the close oil-services firm Baker Hughes reported the number of U.S. oil rigs rose by 5 to 664. |
