| Stock markets were closed in honor of Good Friday and the bond and futures markets closed early. | |||||||
| The Federal government was open today and the Internal Revenue Service gave Obamacare customers more time to file their tax returns without penalty because of government errors on health-plan forms. Customers unable to file by April 15 due to the mistake should file for an automatic extension and will be free from any penalty as long as they file a return by Oct. 15. The IRS previously said that Obamacare customers who have already sent in their tax returns using the incorrect forms do not have to file amended returns because the government will not pursue collection of any additional taxes based on updated forms. | |||||||
