Closing Market Report 9/25/2014

The KUIK Closing Market Report for Thursday, September 25:
It was a tough day on Wall Street.
Direction Change Units  Last Time Change
Dow Down                   (264) points           16,946 1:14 PM
S&P500 Down -1.6% percent             1,966     (32.31)
Nasdaq Composite Down -1.9% percent             4,467     (88.47)
30 Year Treasury Down                      (6) Basis Points               3.22 Annual Yield
The market for debt sold by the lowest-rated companies is concerning, accoridng to Dallas Federal Reserve President Richard Fisher. At a conference in Rome, he suggested that the Fed’s low-rate policies helped push up asset prices like those in the market for junk bonds.
