The Commerce Department reports that E-commerce sales rose to a record $67 billion in the third quarter. That’s a gain of 3.6% on a seasonally adjusted basis from the second quarter, and represents a gain of 17.5% from thethird quarter of 2012. As a share of total sales, e-commerce representsjust 5.9%.
