U.S. stocks rallied, lifting the Dow industrials into positive terrain for the week, after European Central Bank President Mario Draghi suggested that the bank will do everything necessary to preserve the euro including bailing out Spain and Italy. |
Facebook reported a net loss for the second quarter, with adjusted results coming in line with Wall Street’s estimates in its first report as a public company. For the period ended June 30, Facebook reported a net loss of $157 million, or 8 cents a share, compared to net income of $240 million, or 11 cents a share, for the same period last year. |
