Shares of Apple and Google fell today, leading a tech-sector retreat. Apple fell 4.2% to close at $580.13, while Google slid 3% to close at $606.07. For Apple, it’s the worst one-day loss since Oct. 19. |
The euro rebounded Monday after briefly trading below the $1.30 level for the first time since January as Spanish government-bond yields rose on renewed worries about the country’s growth prospects and its ability to meet deficit-reduction targets. |
