The Stoxx Europe 600 index jumped 1.8% to 370.55. That added to the 1.7% gain yesterday, after European Central Bank President Mario Draghi said the bank will buy 60 billion euros that’s $69 billion of public and private debt every month starting in March until at least September 2016. The move is aimed at supporting growth and increasing inflation expectations in the eurozone.
The initial  reading of HSBC’s China manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index  rose to 49.8 in January, that compared with the final 49.6 in December.  Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index gained 1.3% to 24,850.45, its best level in more than four months. The index climbed 3.1% for the week. The Shanghai Composite Index ended 0.3% higher, up for the fourth straight day. The index notched a weekly loss of 0.7%, due to its 7.7% plunge on Monday.
