| The federal government may shutdown as the House of Representatives delays a vote on the spending bill. With the clock ticking toward the expiration of government funding at midnight, the House had been poised to vote this afternoon on the bill. Shortly past 11:00 am Pacifc the House recessed a sign that leaders were still trying to find the votes needed to pass the funding package. | |||||||
