Bloomberg reports that without better containment of the Ebola outbreak, there may be between 550,000 and o 1.4 million cases in Liberia and Sierra Leone by January, according to a new estimate published today by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That’s a worse case scenario given the number of cases reported so far, public health efforts failing, and without committing additional resources to control the outbreak. |
