Extraordinary measures to enable the U.S. to keep borrowing aren’t likely to last past Feb. 27, according to Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew in a letter today to House Speaker John Boehner. Today was the last day of suspension of the debt ceiling. In his letter to Ohio Republican Boehner, Lew once again urged Congress to raise the U.S. borrowing limit as quickly as possible. |
