| The House of Representatives today passed a $1.1 trillion spending bill to fund the government through September. It now goes to the Senate, which is expected to vote later this week. Republicans have trumpeted the bill’s $1 billion cut to an Obamacare fund, while Democrats tout its funding for childhood education and health research. Conservative groups including Heritage Action said the bill spends too much and urged a no vote. The bill passed the House with 359 yes votes and 67 no votes. | |||||||
