| Oil futures edged up in electronic trading after the close of today’s regular session after the American Petroleum Institute reported a bigger-than-expected decline in crude supplies. The API said supplies fell by 4.2 million barrels for the week ended Aug. 30. A Platts survey of analysts forecast a decline of 2.5 million barrels. Gasoline dropped by 387,000 barrels. | |||||||
