The Commerce Department reported orders to American factories climbed in February for a third month in four. The 1.3% rise is under the 1.5% expected by economists polled by MarketWatch. The Federal Open Market Committee releases minutes from its March 13 policy meeting at 11 am Pacific time today. | |||||||
Unemployment in Spain rose 38,769 in March, or 0.8%, to 4.75 million, the Ministry of Employment and Social Security announced Tuesday. On an annual basis, unemployment was 9.6% higher in March. Spain is the next country of concern in the EU. | |||||||
