The Second U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals released a ruling today that argues that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which bans bias in the workplace based on sex, outlaws discrimination against LGBT employees based on sexual orientation. The decision was made in a case involving the estate of a New York man who was fired from his job as a skydiving instructor after a customer complained that he was gay. |
