House Speaker Paul Ryan says Republicans plan to work on entitlement reform next year as a way to “tackle the debt and the deficit.” The Wisconsin Republican told Ross Kaminsky on his talk radio show the House would be working to reform programs like Medicare in 2018, calling them “the big drivers of our debt.” In addition to health care, Republicans plan to work on reforming the U.S. welfare system.
