The University of Michigan’s consumer sentiment index fell to 93.1 in July from 95.1 in June. The index I down from a 13-year high of 98.5 in January, when President Trump took office. Current conditions rose to 113.2 to set a 10-year high, but the index that looks six months out fell to 80.2 from 83.9.
