Two House members on Thursday introduced a bipartisan resolution to modernize how Congress operates, including the right to vote remotely and take part in hearings online. Rep. Eric Swalwell, a California Democrat and Steve Pearce, a New Mexico Republican believe the adoption of new technologies would give lawmakers more time to spend in their districts with the people they represent while carrying on their other duties.
