| The Treasury Department reports the government expects to borrow $59 billion in the 3rd fiscal quarter, that’s $66 billion more than previously projected in February. The department had previously said it was going to pay down $7 billion of existing debt and is due to changes in how much cash it thinks it will have on hand and a drop in financing needs. | |||||||
