Oil futures fell today, giving back a large chunk of the previous two sessions’ gains after data from the Energy Information Administration showed U.S. oil inventories posted the largest one-week jump since 2001. May crude fell 5.6% to $50.98 a barrel on the New York Merc. It gained nearly 10% over the last two days to close yesterday at the high for 2015. |
