Closing Market Report 3/3/2015

The KUIK Closing Market Report for Tuesday, March 3:
Markets were down.
Index Direction Change Units Index Time Change
Dow Down                    (85) points           18,203 5:09 PM
S&P500 Down -0.5% percent             2,108       (9.61)
Nasdaq Composite Down -0.6% percent             4,980     (28.20)
30 Year Treasury Up                       3 Basis Points               2.71 Annual Yield
Corelogic reports U.S. home prices jumped 1.1% in January to take the year-over-year gain to 5.7%. Nationally, home prices are down 12.7% from their April 2006, peak. The U.S. as a whole should get back to that prior peak in three years at current sales-growth rates. New York and Texas, have already surpassed pre-bubble peaks, and  Alaska and Kentucky, are on the verge of doing so.
