| Corelogic reports U.S. home prices jumped 1.1% in January to take the year-over-year gain to 5.7%. Nationally, home prices are down 12.7% from their April 2006, peak. The U.S. as a whole should get back to that prior peak in three years at current sales-growth rates. New York and Texas, have already surpassed pre-bubble peaks, and Alaska and Kentucky, are on the verge of doing so. | |||||||
