The Commerce Department reports the trade deficit widened 3.2% in November to $50.5 billion. It’s the biggest since January 2012. Economists expected only $50 billion. Imports rose 2.5% to $250.7 billion while exports rose 2.3% to $200.2 billion. The deficit was up 11.6% from 2016.
