The KUIK Closing Market Report for Monday, February 15:
Stock and bond markets were closed in honor of the Presidents Day holiday.
Futures trading had a shortened sessionand closed at 10 am Pacific time. March E-mini Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 211 points, or 1.3% to 16,124 while those for the S&P 500 index gained 1.4%, to 1,885. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index rose or 1.7%, to 4,076.
