| The Dow fell 1.6% in September and 7.7% for the quarter. The S&P500 index lost 3% for the month and 7.3% for the quarter, driven by fears over global growth. Sectors sensitive to economic growth suffered the most. Materials fell 18% for the quarter and energy fell 17.5%. Health-care sector entered correction territory by falling 11%. | |||||||
