Closing Market Report 1/19/2015

The KUIK Closing Market Report for Monday, January 19:
US Markets were closed in honor of the Martin Luther King Holiday.
Falling oil prices, sanctions, and weakening investor confidence will lead to a sharp contraction in Russia’s economy during 2015, hurting  growth in other Eastern European and central Asian economies with which it has close ties, according to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.  The bank also slashed its growth forecast for Ukraine, saying the nation’s economy is in “a precarious state” as the death toll in the eastern part of the country rises despite a cease-fire between the government and pro-Russian rebels.
Serving the West Side first I am Bill Roller of BR Capital for 1360 KUIK.
