Closing Market Report 4/7/2014

The KUIK Closing Market Report for Monday, April 7:
Markets had another big down day.
Direction Change Units  Last  Time Change
Dow Down                   (167) points           16,246 2:58 PM
S&P500 Down -1.08% percent             1,845     (20.05)
Nasdaq Composite Down -1.16% percent             4,080     (47.97)
30 Year Treasury Down                      (3) Basis Points               3.56 Annual Yield
Fannie Mae analyst David Kopita says people are buying second homes. He says the uneven economic recovery has benefited the second-home buyer, who tends to be older, earns more, and makes a larger down payment. Not surprisingly, Florida has been the big beneficiary.
