Closing Market Report 7/27/2012

This is Bill Roller of BR Capital with the KUIK Closing Market Report for Friday, July 27.
Markets had a strong up day.

Big   drops in Facebook and Starbucks triggered Nasdaq’s short-sale circuit   breakers,  Facebook ended down 12% reported after the close yesterday and it swung to a second-quarter loss of   $157 million, or 8 cents a share, from a net income of $240 million or 11 cents a share in the same year-earlier quarter.
Starbucks ended 9.4% lower, hit by weak demand in Europe and higher commodity prices. The company said its fiscal third-quarter profit rose 19% to $333.1 million, or 43 cents a share.
