Markets finished up today.

The Labor Department reported job openings in the U.S. decreased in April by the most in  four years, the latest sign that the labor market is cooling.  Open positions dropped by 325,000, the   biggest decline since September 2008, to 3.42 million from 3.74 million in March.
Microsoft has entered the tablet wars.  It unveiled its offering yesterday. Called Surface, it is   comparable in size and weight to an Ipad and will run Windows 8 as well as Adobe Flash and Microsoft Office applications.
